The Republican Party of St. Croix County has become the latest local Republican organization to join Surus Wisconsin’s Battle Program, bringing the total number of organizations on the state's one of a kind program to four. St. Croix County, located in Wisconsin's conservative Northwoods is the first County Party to join from Wisconsin 7th Congressional District.

St. Croix County is one of the fastest growing counties in Wisconsin. St. Croix county includes one the Wisconsin Democrats biggest targets, the 30th Assembly District. The work to ensure they defend State Rep. Shannon Zimmerman, keeping up with new residents moving to the county and ultimately turning the largest city in the county, Hudson, Red, truly shows the importance of year-long activity in St. Croix County.

Matthew Rust, Chairman of the St. Croix County Republicans, highlighted his organization’s excitement to get started on the Battle Program; “We're chomping at the bit to activate Ward Captains across St. Croix County to meet unreliable Republicans in their neighborhoods and ultimately win more elections locally and statewide.” said Rust. “The Republican Party of St. Croix County is excited to partner with Surus Wisconsin and continue the work to Turn Wisconsin Red!”

With the addition of St. Croix County, organizations participating on the Battle Program can now reach over 109,765 Unreliable Republican voters – voters who share our values but do not vote in every election.

Bennett Inman, Surus Wisconsin Account Manager, welcomed St. Croix County to the fight to turn Wisconsin red: "St. Croix County only has to look across the Mississippi River to see what failed Democrat policy looks like in Minnesota. With the work ethic of the St. Croix GOP by our side, we can ensure Wisconsin never turns into Minnesota.” Said Inman. “Our Surus Wisconsin team looks forward to working with the wonderful Ward Captains of St. Croix County on making relationships with the almost 13,000 unreliable Republican neighbors who will help turn Wisconsin Red.”

The Battle Program aims to revitalize civic engagement by reshaping local Republican Party organizations into vibrant, effective community anchors that attract volunteers, earn the trust of donors, and inspire volunteerism. Surus Wisconsin believes that with the right tools, guidance, and resources, these local organizations can establish the vital, always-on infrastructure needed to realize the mission of Turning Wisconsin Red.
