Brown County Joins the Fight to Turn Wisconsin Red

The Republican Party of Brown County has become the latest local Republican organization to join Surus Wisconsin’s Battle Program, bringing the total number of organizations on the state's one of a kind program to three. Brown County, located in the Red Northeastern Wisconsin is the first County Party to join in Wisconsin 8th Congressional District.  

Brown county is home to increasingly competitive districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Wisconsin State Senate. From defending Congressman Tony Wied and Ben Franklin the 88th Assembly District, Flipping the 89th and 90th Assembly Districts and the 30th State Senate District, the battleground runs through Brown County. 

Doug Reich, Chairman of the Brown County Republicans, highlighted his organization’s readiness to get started on the Battle Program; “Our Ward Captains are excited for the opportunity to get to know our unreliable Republican neighbors, improve Conservative vote totals and make Brown County an example for the rest of the State of Wisconsin.” said Reich. “Our team is proud to join our new partners at Surus Wisconsin and do the work to Keep Brown County Red and Turn Wisconsin Red!”

With the addition of Brown County, organizations participating on the Battle Program can now reach over 96,927 Unreliable Republican voters – voters who share our values but do not vote in every election. 

Bennett Inman, Surus Wisconsin Account Manager, welcomed Brown County to the fight to turn Wisconsin red: "Brown County is a wonderful place. Titletown will soon not be known just for the Green Bay Packers but also for winning elections for Conservatives up and down the ballot.” Said Inman. “The Surus Wisconsin team looks forward to getting the dedicated Ward Captains in Brown County focused on making relationships with the 20,000 unreliable Republican votes who will help turn Wisconsin Red.”

The Battle Program aims to revitalize civic engagement by reshaping local Republican Party organizations into vibrant, effective community anchors that attract volunteers, earn the trust of donors, and inspire volunteerism. Surus Wisconsin believes that with the right tools, guidance, and resources, these local organizations can establish the vital, always-on infrastructure needed to realize the mission of Turning Wisconsin Red.
